#CREATEYOURVOICE Mental Health Campaign

CREATE YOUR VOICE MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

In the US, over 1/3 of HS students experienced feeling sad or hopeless for an extended period of time in the prior year (YRBSS, 2019), 46.6% among those identified as female. Since the COVID-19 Era, these trends have gotten worse. We know that it can be difficult to talk about it when we do feel sad or stressed or anxious. We also know that connecting with others, expressing what is on your mind, and using your voice creatively can go a long way in feeling and doing better. Because of this we are providing opportunities for you to CREATE YOUR VOICE.

The #CREATEYOURVOICE campaign has ended, but please continue to use these resources as they were intended… to provide youth and young adults opportunities:

    1. To learn more about mental health
    2. To examine their own well-being
    3. To use creative expression to help themselves and others
    4. To learn more about the connection between music and well-being
